Bowdoin Announces 2026 Honorary Degree Recipients

Bowdoin College will confer three honorary degrees at its 221st Commencement exercises, to be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, on the steps of the Walker Art Building.This year’s honorary degree recipients are longtime Maine island health care provider Sharon Daley, author and Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich ’14, and economic policy thought leader Cecilia Elena Rouse.

College Gets Behind Student-Managed Arctic Fund

The College launches a money-raising drive to formally support a student-managed investment fund. The Arctic Fund, launched by three first-years in 2023, aims to replicate the real-life experience of working in finance and provide economics students with the business smarts to secure top jobs in the world of money management.
