Bowdoin's music ensembles are open to all students regardless of major, and in any given semester around 10 percent of the entire student body participates.
Music ensembles perform once per semester on campus in Studzinski Recital Hall, the Chapel, and the Tillotson Room. There are also off-campus performance opportunities at other colleges, local venues, as well as tours abroad in places such as Russia, Chile, and Western Europe. Repertoire includes the Western classical tradition, jazz, contemporary, and world music.
