Bowdoin Electro-Acoustic Ensemble
The Bowdoin Electroacoustic Ensemble is a performance-based collective where students experiment with sound, technology, and collaboration. No prior musical experience—or ability to read music—is required; curiosity and openness to sonic exploration are all that’s needed
Rehearsing in the Center for Experimental Multimedia Art (CEMA), members have access to state-of-the-art tools for live electronics, spatial audio, projection mapping, and interactive performance. The ensemble performs original works each semester that blend improvisation, sound design, and multimedia installation.
