Bath Community
Explore and connect with Bath, an historic shipbuilding town on the banks of the Kennebec River.
Students will learn about the history and community initiatives of Bath through projects focused on youth and adult services. Activities may include projects with community partner organizations including Midcoast Youth Center and Skate Park, ArtVan, and United Way. Additionally, students will take a trip to Sewell Pond and explore downtown Bath to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the area. This group will stay in cabins at Bowdoin’s beautiful Schiller Coastal Studies Center with access to trails, the waterfront and kitchen and shower facilities.
