West Branch

Set off on an unforgettable backcountry canoe expedition through the West Branch of the Penobscot River and Chesuncook Lake, in the North Woods of Maine.

This trip is a classic multi-day paddle adventure—remote and rich with wildlife, big skies, and quiet mornings on the water. You'll cover nearly 35 miles over four days, navigating calm stretches and open lakes, camping on islands and beaches, and sleeping in tents with your peers. Be prepared to use the bathroom outside!

No previous canoeing experience is required, but participants should feel comfortable swimming and spending extended time in a canoe.
