Experience the Outing Club! 

The Bowdoin Outing Club is for everyone. The BOC invites you to join our trips and the fun at the Schwartz Outdoor Leadership Center. Winter trips include heading to the club's cabin in Monson, Maine, located at the start of the Appalachian Trail's 100-Mile Wilderness, where you can sled and sip cocoa by the stove. Closer to campus, we offer bird-watching trips to visit the BOC's very own island on the New Meadows River. On campus, BOC members often bake cookies in our kitchen and take study breaks in front of a roaring fire in our common room.
