Faculty Development Committee

The Faculty Development Committee awards grants to members of the faculty in several categories

• Funds to support research and scholarship, including funds to support publication and supplemental support for travel to professional conferences
• Faculty leave support

The committee also establishes procedures and criteria for awards. Funds may not be used if there is a U.S. Department of State Level 4 travel advisory for that country at the time of travel. 

Faculty members are reminded of other sources of internal funding, including funds administered by the Office of the Dean for Academic Affairs for Professional Conference Travel and Course Enrichment.
