New Faculty Information
After signing your faculty letter of appointment, you will receive mail and email from various offices at Bowdoin. To keep your contact information current, please notify the Human Resources Office and your academic department coordinator with any updates or changes.
Your first responsibility is to complete employment and benefits enrollment through the Workday website. Contact the Human Resources Office with questions (207-725-3837, 216 Maine Street).
Your department coordinator is your go-to person for day-to-day questions and practical issues, including keys, ID cards, mail and the traditions of your department or program. Their contact information is in the Department Directory.
The orientation events for new members of Bowdoin faculty will now be held virtually. Please check back in early July to see the New Faculty Orientation Agenda for the dates and times of these events.
