Bowdoin Votes is the McKeen Center’s nonpartisan initiative to build a politically robust campus culture where every student develops the skills to participate fully in our democracy.

Make A Plan To Vote:

  1. Check if you're registered
    • In Maine, you have the option to register on Election Day at your polling place.
  2. Check primary deadlines
  3. Request your absentee ballot from your State Government's website
  4. Learn about what's on your ballot
  5. Fill out your ballot and send it through the mail center (they have free stamps for you!) by the deadline listed in step 2
  6. If you're voting in person in Maine, come to Moulton Circle on March 5 (time TBA) and ride the Votemobile to the polls at Brunswick Jr. High School. It's only a five minute drive!

Once you've made your plan, complete the All In Voting Pledge to help Bowdoin maintain our status of highest undergraduate voter turnout! Check out Bowdoin's voting data from 2020 here.

Did you know that Maine just implemented semi-open primaries? If you are registered as an unenrolled voter, you can request either party's primary ballot. Learn more here!
