Lubec Community

See where the sun first shines on the United States as you explore Lubec, Maine, the easternmost town in the contiguous United States.

Students will have the opportunity to explore Lubec, the easternmost town in the U.S., known for its dramatic coastal landscapes, working waterfront, and rich ecological diversity. As part of the experience, they will connect with local organizations such as the Downeast Institute, a marine research and education center focused on coastal ecosystems, aquaculture, and community-based science. Accommodations will include access to kitchen and shower facilities.
