Hi everyone! I’m a senior studying Computer Science with a minor in Chinese. I recently returned from a year abroad in Madrid and Copenhagen. On campus, I’m involved in BWICS and the Design & Development Club. I love running, playlists, and video game playthroughs!
Hi! I’m a sophomore planning to study Government, Sociology, and Asian Studies. I’m a coxswain on the rowing team, involved in KSA, and host a WBOR show. You’ll often find me at the Craft Center or walking Huckleberry!
Hi! I’m a sophomore interested in economics, English, and music. I play varsity lacrosse and am active in music on campus. I love skiing, languages, and golf—and I’m excited to help make your transition great!

Orientation Week
Discover Orientation Trips
A Bowdoin tradition. Your first shared experience.
Before classes begin, you will head out on an Orientation Trip — a small-group experience designed to help you connect with classmates, learn from student leaders, and explore the Maine landscape.
- Build meaningful connections before the semester begins
- Meet upper class student leaders
- Experience Maine’s natural environment
Later this summer, trip options, registration details, and preparation information will be available on the Orientation Trips page.
There's no need to rush it. By the time you arrive to campus, you will have:
- Roommates and a room assignment
- Hopefully everything you need from your packing list
- An Orientation Trip assignment
- An Arrival Day move-in time slot
- and more!
