Carpenter’s Boat Shop
Come stay at the Carpenter’s Boat Shop campus in coastal Pemaquid, founded by Bobby Ives ’69. With each day centered around the Boat Shop’s campus, participants on this trip will experience hands-on woodworking, coastal sailing, and explore the beauty of Muscongus Bay and its many islands. Accommodations will include access to kitchen facilities.
Note: While there will be many opportunities to swim, participants will not have access to traditional shower facilities. This trip also requires riding on a sailboat. Participants should be comfortable swimming; however, no prior sailing or boating experience is required. Please contact mckeenOtrips@bowdoin.edu if any of this is a concern.
