Disabled parking spaces are reserved for the use of disabled persons who have a valid state issued disability plate or placard (placard must be displayed while parking). All disabled parking spaces are clearly marked and are off limits to anyone who does not have a disability license plate or placard.

Unauthorized use of a disability parking space will result in a $200.00 fine, and the offending vehicle may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Temporary disability placards may be obtained from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, 125 Main Street, Topsham, ME 04086, (207) 725-6520.
