Beckwith Music Library

The Beckwith Music Library, located in Gibson Hall, contains a strong collection of sound recordings and an excellent collection of performing scores.
The areas of strength of the sound recording collection include jazz, avant-garde music of this century, Renaissance music, opera, and world music. Beckwith also has individual listening stations, and networked computers. While many music reference materials are located in the Beckwith Music Library, books about music (history, literature, theory) are housed in the main Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, next door to Gibson.
