Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment provides you with the annual opportunity to review your current coverage elections and choose the benefits that will best support you and your well-being in the coming calendar year.  The 2024 benefits open enrollment period in Workday will take place from Monday, November 6 through Friday, November 17, closing at 5:00 p.m.  Benefit elections and changes you make during Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2024.

You will find the enrollment in your Workday inbox (top right of the home screen) or on the home page “awaiting your action” the morning of November 6.  Click on the 2024 Open Enrollment event to begin and then on “Let’s Get Started”.  The Workday benefit enrollment allows you to enroll using a desktop computer or a mobile device.  Each page in the enrollment process contains instructions along with links and important information to assist you.  IMPORTANT:  Please remember that your Workday login and password must be kept confidential and should not be shared with anyone in your family or others who may assist you in the enrollment process.

When you are finished enrolling, be sure to click on “Review and Sign” to complete your enrollment by the deadline.  We ask everyone to review their elections and the costs associated with each election even if you do not intend to make any changes and submit the benefits election in Workday by the deadline.  If you do not submit your enrollment by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 17 your benefit elections will remain the same in calendar year 2024, with the following exceptions:

  • Enrollment in a Medical or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (HSA). To participate in calendar year 2024, you must make an active election during Open Enrollment.
  • If you are a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) participant making your own contributions to your Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2023, remember that these contributions will stop automatically with the last pay date in 2023. If you would like to contribute uninterrupted into 2024, you must make an active election during Open Enrollment.  You can also make an election to contribute to your HSA or change the amount any time in calendar year 2024.

We hope that you will find the following enrollment resources and information useful in making your elections.  Important Reminder:  We urge you to also take time or review your personal information in Workday and make any necessary updates.  It’s important that your mailing address and contact information is correct and up to date.  Please also make sure that you have an emergency contact listed in Workday or that the contact information you have listed is correct.  During the enrollment process, please be sure that you have beneficiary information listed and that it is correct for your Basic Life Insurance (including any employee supplemental life insurance you elect) and the Group Travel Accident coverage.
