Student-Run Media

Student-run media organizations, which include newspapers, magazines, radio, and other programming, are editorially independent of the College and its administration. Student-run media outlets are funded primarily through the student activities fee, a fund managed by the Student Activities Funding Committee (“SAFC”), which consists of student members and one non-voting student activities staff member. The College has no control over or input on the content of such publications and programming.

Student-run media organizations are required to comply with College policies. Students who participate in radio programming are additionally required to comply with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) regulations.
