A guest is any person who is not a currently enrolled Bowdoin student, or member of Bowdoin’s faculty or staff. When the campus is in green or yellow status, students may have visitors to campus who are fully vaccinated. Guests may visit public buildings on campus, but they may not enter residential spaces. Only Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff are permitted in campus residences. Students who host or invite guests into residential spaces or overnight will face disciplinary action.
Guests are required to comply with Bowdoin’s policies while on campus. Guests may not interfere with or disrupt the orderly processes of the College and guests may not infringe upon the rights or dignity of any Bowdoin student. Students who choose to bring guests to campus are responsible for any violations of College policies committed by their guests.
To the extent possible, guests will also be held responsible for their actions while on College property. This may include barring an individual from College property, serving a criminal trespass warning, or otherwise involving local law enforcement.
