Resolving Work Issues

The College is committed to creating a workplace in which staff and faculty feel comfortable addressing and resolving work related issues is a positive manner.

Employees should feel empowered to communicate with their supervisors.  Your manager may be unaware of any issues and a face to face meeting can do wonders to immediately discuss and directly resolve problems.

Employees may also consult with Workplace Advisors who are representative of support staff, administrative staff, and faculty.  They understand the College's policies and procedures, and are specially trained to lisen to you and layout possible approaches to resolve your issues.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to you via telephone or website, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Counselors are available to help with workplace issues as well as personal and family situations.  Supervisors and managers are welcome to call for consultation about how to handle problems in the workplace.
