Sendpro can be used by Bowdoin staff to process domestic shipments of packages and boxes for college business. For international shipments, please use the mail center shipping form.

Download and print the mail center shipping form and affix it to your package before sending it to the Mail Center. 

Note: If you are shipping with Sendpro you DO NOT need a mail center shipping form.

USPS mail is taken to the Post Office after 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, please have your mail at the Mail Center no later than 3:15 on the day you would like to send it. Available USPS Services:

• Domestic and international shipping:
• First-Class
• Priority – Free Priority boxes and envelopes available for this service
• Media – Domestic only
• Express to P.O. Boxes
• Certified Mail with Return Receipt.
• Stamps – variety is constantly changing.
• Drop off location for pre-paid shipments and returns.

The Mail Center offers traditional ground shipping services using UPS as the vendor.  UPS picks up from the Mail Center by 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, please have your shipments at the Mail Center by 3:15 p.m. on the day you want it to go out.  Available UPS services:

• Multiple services available (standard ground, 2-day, overnight)
• Drop off location for pre-paid shipments and returns.
• UPS automatically insures your package up to the first $100, free!

Note: Addresses must be to a street address, not a PO Box (for PO boxes use USPS).

FedEx picks up from the Mail Center by 3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday, please have your shipment at the Mail Center no later than 3:15 p.m. the day you want it to go out.  Available FedEx Express Services:

• Priority Overnight: Domestic next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas.
• Standard Overnight: Domestic next business day delivery by 3:00 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas.
• Economy 2-Day: Domestic by 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most areas; by 7:00 p.m. to residences. 
• Express Saver (3-Day): Domestic delivery in three business days to businesses by 4:30 p.m. and to residences by 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday Service: Check with the Mail Center about availability and cost.
• International Service: 2–3 business days to most locations.
• Drop off location for pre-paid FedEx shipments and returns.

Note: Addresses must be to a street address, not a PO Box. Note – if you only have a PO Box, consider contacting the recipient to inquire about a delivery address or you will need to use the US Postal Service for this shipment.
