Kaempfer Fund

The Kaempfer Fund provides all students with financial support for Visual Arts course supplies for students registered for Visual Arts courses.

Students are responsible for the first $100 of each course. Supply expenses for the course beyond that can then be waived or reimbursed up to $300 ($600 for photo courses). The Bowdoin Store will factor this into kits or fees, and only charge the student for the first $100.

Students may also email requests for reimbursement of supply purchases to Denise Shannon at dshannon@bowdoin.edu.

Emails should include:

Name
Course number
An image of the receipt
Total amount requested

Students should carefully track the cumulative cost of kits, fees, and additional expenses so as not to exceed a total of $300 per course ($600 for photo classes).
