Transfer Students
Bowdoin meets all admitted transfer students' full demonstrated need.
Although the admissions process is need-aware for transfer students, Bowdoin meets all admitted students' full demonstrated need. However, please note that international students who are aid applicants are not considered for transfer admission. If you do not apply for aid or are not eligible for Bowdoin's need-based aid at the time of admission, you will not be considered for financial aid in future years.
