Estimate Aid

Bowdoin is committed to affordability. Nearly half of our enrolled students receive scholarship assistance from Bowdoin and the College stands firm in its decision to eliminate student loans from student financial aid packages.

These calculators are designed to help domestic students determine if they will qualify for Bowdoin student financial aid and what they might expect to pay for college. Students who are not U.S. citizens may contact us for more information.

A Note for Applicants to Bowdoin

The Net Price Calculator (NPC) is intended to help your family better understand what your share of the cost to attend Bowdoin would be for your first year. While the NPC can be used at any point in the process, once you have applied for admission (or as of November 15th) we will not be able to respond to requests to have a further conversation. Instead, please complete all financial aid application requirements by the deadline and check the document checklist in your Bowdoin admissions portal periodically in case we require additional information from your family. We welcome a discussion about managing your family's share of the cost once admission decisions have been made.
