This is a non-binding, online form that begins the OCS process, facilitates a conversation between student and faculty about academics and timing, and introduces students to their options. Bowdoin's OCS process is an opportunity to think intentionally about study away timing, demonstrate understanding of the host academic program, and obtain faculty approval. Students must also meet OCS's eligibility requirements.
November 1: Registration of Intent
January 23: Application Opens.
February 3: Petition to study on a non-Bowdoin approved program
February 17: Application to study off-campus — online & course portion (all students)
