Bowdoin students don't just think about where they want to go, they think about what they want to study, experience, and accomplish.

Bowdoin offers over 100 study away options; it's important to find the right match.

Consider your academic and personal goals. These may include getting credit towards a major, taking a language, conducting field research, and/or exploring a new culture. You can then go through and assess which of Bowdoin's opportunities match your goals best. When you have a short list of potential matches, reach out to multiple people, such as faculty and peers, for their perspectives.

Our office wants to help you through this process, from devising your goals to research options, connecting you with perspectives, and helping you with the application process. Please make an appointment and we'll talk!
