Oatmeal Molasses Pan Rolls


¼ c + 2 Tbsp.  Water

¼ c + 2 Tbsp.  Whole Milk

2 Tbsp. + ½ tsp.  Canola Oil

2 3/8 tsp.  Instant Yeast

2 Tbsp. + ½ tsp.  Molasses

1 1/8 tsp.  Salt

3 ¾ ounce  Rolled Oats

9 oz.  White/Whole Wheat Flour Blend


1. In mixer w/ dough hook, combine dry ingredients.
2. Add liquid ingredients and mix on low speed until thoroughly combined, adding flour as needed to make a soft, pliable dough.
3. Machine knead on medium speed for 3-5 minutes.
4. Cover bowl with plastic and allow to rest until the dough has doubled in size.
5. Punch down dough and place on surface. Rest dough again until it has doubled in size.
6. Divide the dough into 3 oz rolls.
7. Spray sheet pan with cooking spray and place rolls on pan. Let rest once again until they have doubled in size.
8. Bake at 425 for 5 minutes. Then lower the temp to 375 and bake an additional 5 minutes. Remove and cool on sheet pans.
