As a teaching museum, the Bowdoin College Museum of Art is dedicated to education for all its constituents, from Bowdoin College students and faculty, to the Maine community, to outside scholars. In the Museum, historical, cultural, and scientific fields of study are brought to life through a direct engagement with original art objects. We aim to make the Museum a laboratory for creativity for all.
