Course Funding — Internal Sources

Funds are available to faculty to support projects leading to new course development and the enrichment of existing courses.
These include funds available through the Committee on Teaching and Classroom Practice (CoTCP) and through the Office of the Dean for Academic Affairs.

Course Development Fund

The Committee on Teaching and Classroom Practice (CoTCP) awards grants that support projects leading to new course development and the enrichment of existing courses. Grants from this fund have supported research in relation to teaching and have paid for a variety of different types of expenses. The award limit is $4,000 per application and the application process is conducted three times per year (October, January, and April).

Course Enrichment Fund

Funds are available through the Office of the Dean for Academic Affairs to support activities that enrich existing courses and will involve all students in a class. Applications will be accepted at any time and normally requests should not exceed $800.
