Knight-Hennessy Scholarship

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program is designed to build a multidisciplinary community of Stanford graduate students dedicated to finding creative solutions to the world's greatest challenges.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars may pursue a graduate education in any of Stanford’s graduate programs.

They welcome students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in Stanford's schools of business; earth, energy and environmental sciences; education; engineering; humanities and sciences; law; and medicine  – all of which are rated among the best in the world.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars are ambitious, in the best sense, and will drive large-scale change in our complex world. Annually, 50 scholars will be selected from around the globe.
