Reunion Weekend is Thursday, May 28 – Sunday, May 31, 2026.

We look forward to welcoming friends and alumni from class years ending in one and six and all post-50th reunion classes, also known as the Old Guard, back to campus.

During Reunion Weekend a limited number of campus events will be offered virtually – such as Saturday morning’s Convocation ceremony which will be livestreamed at bowdoin.edu/live.

Online registration for Reunion Weekend is now closed. If you have not yet registered, you are welcome to join us as a walk-in registration as space allows. Registration rates are listed at bowdoin.edu/reunion.

Absolutely! We encourage returning alumni to bring their families. All activities and programs are open to anyone who is on campus for the weekend.

Yes, alumni who are not part of an official reunion class but who would like to attend are welcome to do so – these alumni should register for the reunion of the class closest to their own class year.

The per-adult fee varies by class. Children (ages 17 and younger) are free! Once arriving on campus for Reunion, it is an all-inclusive weekend and there are not additional fees assessed to participate in individual activities. Fees help cover the costs associated with all Reunion activities like meals, beverages, entertainment, and much more. Bowdoin strives to make participation in Reunion as affordable as possible, and the College substantially subsidizes the cost of the Weekend.

Bowdoin is dedicated to making Reunion financially feasible for all classmates. Registration offers Full Weekend, Partial Weekend, and Saturday Day package pricing options. While the College substantially subsidizes the cost of Reunion, Bowdoin recognizes that for some classmates the cost of attending Reunion may be a hardship. In those situations, financial assistance is available, and requests should be sent to Holly Rogers or Tracie Knight in the Office of Alumni Relations at reunion@bowdoin.edu. Please note, assistance is not available for transportation, off-campus lodging, or other non-Reunion fee related expenses. All requests will be considered and will remain confidential.

If cancellation of a Reunion reservation or on-campus room is necessary, individuals will be reimbursed in full for cancellations made prior to Thursday, May 14. Due to planning commitments we make with off-campus vendors and other partners, we regret that we cannot offer refunds for cancellations received after this date.

On-campus housing is fully booked for Reunion 2026, and no additional beds are available. Walk-in registrants should arrange off-campus accommodations with friends or at hotels in the local area or in the Greater Portland area.

For those who have secured on-campus housing, housing is provided primarily in residence halls and College Houses.

Accommodations in all facilities include twin beds and very minimal furnishings. Each attendee registered for on-campus housing will be provided with a set of sheets and towels, a blanket, and a pillow. Attendees are encouraged to bring additional pillows, blankets, or other amenities. There are very limited private bathrooms. The College makes every effort to house classmates and guests of a given Reunion class in the same building.

College policy prohibits pets in campus buildings including all academic, administrative, and student residential buildings. Please note that this does not apply to service animals, which are welcome.

Since housing is extremely limited, we encourage considering off-campus accommodations. The Visitor Resources site lists hotels conveniently located to Bowdoin and many offer special Bowdoin rates.

The Office of Alumni Relations will update a list of attendees on the Class Pages once a week.

Once you arrive on campus, please stop by the Reunion Welcome Center in Main Lounge, located on the first floor of Moulton Union, to pick up your registration information and Reunion Weekend name tag which will be checked at event entrances throughout the weekend.

Guests staying in on-campus housing who arrive after the Welcome Center has closed should call Bowdoin Security for assistance accessing their assigned housing. The next morning, please stop by the Welcome Center to pick up your name tag and housing key.

Our Welcome Center will open on Thursday, May 28, at noon, as does on-campus housing. Sorry, but we’re unable to accommodate early arrivals.

Go to bowdoin.edu/admissions/visit for all in-person and virtual admissions offerings. Please note that there is limited capacity for all in-person admissions events and advance registration is requested.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are available on campus and details can be found on the College’s Green Transportation site.
