Enrollment and Degree Verifications
Electronic enrollment and degree verifications may be requested through the National Student Clearinghouse. Requests for an enrollment or degree verification may also be requested by emailing registrar@bowdoin.edu. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. Additional forms/documents may be attached to the email requesting the verification. Those who attended/graduated before 1990 should allow 10 business days for processing.
Students living on campus have the option to send documents to our office via campus mail. Our mailbox is checked once per week, so please plan accordingly. If a document needs immediate attention, even for students on campus, please scan and email it to registrar@bowdoin.edu. All other current and former students should scan and email documents to registrar@bowdoin.edu.
Federal investigators requiring a transcript should email registrar@bowdoin.edu.
Due to ongoing public health concerns, these processes are subject to change without notification. If you have any questions or an extenuating circumstance, please email registrar@bowdoin.edu. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
Bowdoin College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for collecting all requests for degree verifications or certifications of student enrollment during the academic year.
If you are an outside agency, please visit the Clearinghouse at degreeverify.org or enrollmentverify.org to request a certification.
