Enrollment and Degree Verifications

Due to the COVID-19 situation, please request e-verifications and e-transcripts only when ordering through the National Student Clearinghouse. Our office is not able to process requests for paper transcripts or verifications as we are working remotely, but we are able to fulfill orders for e-transcripts and e-verifications within our normal 3-5 business day turnaround time. That said, if you attended/graduated before 1990, please allow an additional 2-3 weeks of processing time, even for electronic documents.
Students living on campus during the Fall 2020 semester may send documents to our office via mail. Our mailbox is checked once per week, so please plan accordingly. If a document needs immediate attention, even for students on campus, please scan and email it to registrar@bowdoin.edu. All other current and former students should scan and email documents to registrar@bowdoin.edu.
Federal investigators requiring a transcript should email registrar@bowdoin.edu.

Bowdoin College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for collecting all requests for degree verifications or certifications of student enrollment during the academic year.
