Welcome to Bowdoin, Class of 2030!
My name is Khoa Khuong '04, and I have the privilege of serving as your first-year dean. As a Bowdoin graduate and a first-generation college student, I understand both the excitement and the uncertainty that can come with starting this new chapter. Bowdoin was a transformative place for me, and I am deeply committed to helping you find your own sense of belonging, purpose, and confidence here.
From now through the end of your first year, I will be a primary resource for you as you navigate your academic and social transition to college. Whether you have questions, need support, or simply want to talk things through, I am here to guide you every step of the way. The transition to college is both meaningful and complex, and you do not have to do it alone.
My role is to ensure that you feel supported, informed, and empowered as you begin your Bowdoin journey. I am truly looking forward to getting to know each of you and to welcoming you to campus in August.
Best,
Khoa Khuong
Associate Dean of Students
