The Bowdoin College Museum of Art (BCMA) has always been more than a building. Both virtually and now, once again, in person, we remain a hub for teaching, learning, and public engagement.

On this page you will find many ways to connect with our collections, exhibitions, publications, and educational resources. We will continue to add more! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the many opportunities for engagement with the arts that we are offering our online visitors. Virtually the entire permanent collection (over 20,000 objects) of the BCMA is viewable online with reproductions and rich descriptive detail. We have a number of interactive digital catalogues based on current and past exhibitions, a great archive of historical pictures from the Museum, and a digital repository of Museum's historical publications available through The Digital Commons. For Bowdoin students and faculty, we have numerous resources available to support your educational endeavors. For young people and the young at heart we offer Family Activities to engage with our collections and—most importantly—your own creative spirit. Enjoy!!
