Cleaveland Street Apartments
Cleaveland Street Apartments is a wood structure, three-story apartment building that houses 14 students in triple and quad apartments. Each apartment comprises a full kitchen, living room, double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom. The quad apartments have an additional single bedroom. There are no elevators in this building.

The College supplies the following items for each student:
- twin bed, extra long (36" x 80")
- desk w/chair
In addition to the items above, each apartment will have, at a minimum, a couch, easy chair, coffee table, kitchen table and two kitchen chairs. Students must supply their own kitchen items (i.e., cookware, plates, cups, utensils, etc.)
Telephone and Voicemail
Each student is assigned a telephone number for their entire time at Bowdoin. One phone per apartment is supplied and each student has an individual voicemail box.
Television and Cable
All rooms are cable ready.
High-speed internet ports are located in every student room. Additionally, all buildings on campus are wireless.
Cleaveland Street Apartments does not have a parking lot. Decals are issued to designated parking lots based on seniority and housing assignments on a first come, first served, space available basis. You can learn more about student parking at Bowdoin on the Security parking website.
There is no laundry room on site. Cleaveland Street Apartment residents are permitted to use any laundry room on campus. The charge for washers and dryers is $1.70 per cycle. The washing machines and dryers in all residence halls are equipped with card readers; laundry machines do not accept cash. You may add money to your Bowdoin ID card for this purpose at several machines on campus. You can see what machines are open, get alerts sent to you when your laundry is finished, and report a problem with a machine at any time by visiting LaundryView.
All college-owned student residences are equipped with sprinklers and alarmed for fire safety.
Cleaveland Street Apartments has a card access system. Residents of this apartment building have 24/7 access.
There is no bicycle storage room at this location.
