Jay Eddy ’11, writer, composer, and performer is performing their “semi-solo” musical Driving in Circles, described as a combination of “confessional monologue, stand-up comedy, and rock concert”, at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre until April 6, 2024; Sam Plattus ’12 is the director. The show won the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Letters’ 2022 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater and the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award and Musical Theatre Award (Kennedy Center).
