Summer Language Study Program

The Summer Language Study Program supports students engaged in Bowdoin's language learning programs by fully funding a small number of students to pursue intensive language study over the summer. The award is designed to support students on financial aid for whom such an opportunity would contribute significantly to their academic and professional trajectory, and for whom the opportunity would be impossible without this support.

Students who wish to apply and who meet the criteria should consult with a faculty mentor in the relevant language department about their plans prior to beginning the application.

Please be reminded that Bowdoin’s Honor Code applies to the language study application process.
