When we graduated from Bowdoin in 1984, “social media” meant posters and flyers obscuring the doors to all the dorms. Fraternities, hours spent at dinner in the Tower or the Union, and hanging on the steps of Appleton fueled our “social networks”, and the only thing with 24-hour connectivity was our intrepid Bowdoin Security team patrolling campus and cheerfully getting us safely back to our rooms. While much has changed since our senior year, our love for Bowdoin stays constant. We invite you back for a weekend on campus to celebrate Bowdoin then and now at our 35th Reunion, Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2.Dear Classmates,

Reunion Weekend will feature hundreds of events, programs, and gatherings to engage and entertain us throughout the weekend. Programs include Reunion Talks by alumni, faculty, and staff, a boat trip to Eagle Island in Casco Bay, special evening access to the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, Bowdoin Brewfest, Reunion Convocation ceremony, and a traditional Maine lobster bake by Bowdoin’s award-winning Dining Services.

Special events for Class of ’84:

Friday evening Class Reception and Dinner at our class headquarters, TD (MacMillan House). This is the first official class gathering for the weekend.

Saturday afternoon, classmate Kary Antholis ’84, will speak to the campus community as part of the Reunion Talks series.

Saturday evening performance at TD by the Photons! Bandmates Randy Shaw ’82, George Reisch '84, Keith Shortall ’82, Doug Taylor ’82, and Jim Jenson ’82 make a triumphant return to the stage.

Enjoy a teaser to the Photons performance here!

And a glimpse of their 2018 Reunion Weekend performance in the old TD living room, where the Photons had their first performance February 1981  -- and home to countless good times with another one just weeks away!!

While the planned activities, meals, and walks down memory lane are reason enough to make the trip to campus, it’s the people we are coming to see. So join us! Don’t miss this opportunity to see our classmates – really see, not just view through a screen!

We look forward to seeing you soon beneath the pines!
