Background
Bowdoin has been my academic home for more than two decades after starting as an assistant professor of geology. I love teaching and mentoring Bowdoin students and, over time, discovered that I also valued mentoring faculty. My commitment to supporting others led me to serve as associate dean (twice!) and interim director of the Baldwin Center and continues to shape my work as Dean for Academic Affairs. Off campus, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and sea kayaking.
