Mail is delivered weekly to Kent Island. Telephone calls can be made from the island. With prior arrangement, calls can also be received by calling the Bowdoin Scientific Station Office at (506) 662-4240.
Messages may be telephoned to the residence of Russell Ingalls, caretaker of the Bowdoin Scientific Station, at (506) 662-9114 or (506) 662-5225. During the summer, the station communicates frequently with Grand Manan Island via short-wave radio.
