Health Services serves the medical and nursing needs of the Bowdoin student community. We are a safe space and here to promote the health and well being of Bowdoin College students by providing primary health care and educational outreach.

Through education, advocacy, collaboration, and coordination, Health Services supports the diverse Bowdoin College student community in their pursuit to achieve and maintain optimal health. Our expertise, campus presence, and accessibility allows us to provide confidential, individualized, inclusive care to meet the unique health needs and promote the success of our students.

Emergencies

Call 911 and speak  to rescue services to direct the ambulance to the emergency. If you are in need of medical care outside the hours of operation, please contact Security at (207) 725-3500 and they can assist you.

You may also go directly to Mid Coast Hospital for 24 hour emergency care, or Mid Coast Walk-In Clinic, open daily from 8:00 a.m.–7 p.m. for minor medical problems. During all college breaks, Health Services will be closed for clinical care. Part-time administrative coverage will be maintained.
