LJ Roberts, halley k harrisburg ’90 and Michael Rosenfeld Artist in Residence, will be working on campus from Tuesday, October 17 through Friday, October 27, 2023.

All Bowdoin students are welcome to sign up for an opportunity to contribute to a new project being developed by artist LJ Roberts. The hybrid textile-sculpture explores the history of queer and trans communities in the United States in the Post-Stonewall era. Artists, Historians, Digital Natives, Crafters, Story Tellers, Dreamers, and Problem Solvers all needed!

From Tuesday, Oct. 17th – Friday, Oct. 27th, students can contribute their talents by joining LJ in their studio (Edwards 202) in blocks of time ranging from 1 – 3 hours three days a week, on Mondays through Wednesdays, 9 am – 12 pm and 1 – 4 pm; with flex time to drop in without appointment on Friday morning, 9 am – 12 pm. 2 - 3 students in the studio at a time is optimal, but there is flexibility. Students are free to sign up for multiple blocks of time.
