Welcome to the Bowdoin Community! We are happy to have your student at the College, and we look forward to getting to know you. Stay in touch with what is happening on campus by subscribing to The Bowdoin Orient, the weekly student newspaper, and following Bowdoin's Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram.
We hope you will be able to visit campus. If you live nearby, you have the opportunity to watch your student perform on the stage or on the field. We know many parents enjoy following the Polar Bears on the road, and a good number of games are now broadcast on the web. In addition, Family Weekend is a wonderful tradition that occurs every fall.
Your student's experience at Bowdoin will move quickly. These can be exciting and anxious times for parents. Please be assured that we stand ready to support and challenge your student's leaning and exploration. We would like these to be among "the best four years" of their lives!
