Ginny Fowles Ward

Ginny is the Associate Director of Upward Bound at Bowdoin. She has a bachelor's degree from Colby College and a Master's in Social Work from Smith College. During the school year, she works closely with students in Bath and Lisbon and loves the opportunity to build longer-term relationships with students, supporting them in all aspects of their lives as they work together on the journey to college. As a first generation college grad herself, Ginny is passionate about guiding students through the hurdles they face to college and working toward greater access to education for low-income students.

In her free time, Ginny enjoys spending time with her husband and family, doing crafty things and DIY home projects. Ginny is a dedicated dog-mamma to two mini-schnauzers, Jack & Milo, for whom she manages a very active Instagram account.
