Summer Staff Opportunities

Residential staff are the heart of the summer program. Our diverse and dynamic team comprises a variety of roles, all of which play a vital part in providing students with a rich and rewarding academic and residential experience designed to prepare them for college. Whether supporting students in the academic realm, coordinating activities and trips, or fostering a healthy residential community, every member of the team is at turns a mentor, facilitator, and supervisor. The work is dynamic, challenging, and rewarding!

Teaching at Upward Bound is an opportunity to engage with students in creative ways. Preparation in math, science, writing and foreign language means advancing students' content knowledge but also developing habits that support success, new ways of learning, and persisting through challenges.

A flexible curriculum allows our teachers room for innovation and exploration. School in the summer should be fun and classes are informal and hands on, while still being challenging and enriching.
