Education
I earned my B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College and my M.Ed. in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Vienna, Austria through the Institute for European Studies.
Background
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in higher education, with most of my career in Student Life before making the move into Academic Affairs. Before arriving at Bowdoin, I worked in residence life, student activities, first-year programs, orientation, student success, and student crisis support/case management at Gettysburg College, the University of Central Florida, and Dartmouth College.
At Bowdoin, I serve as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, where I support faculty affairs, academic operations, and institutional governance, specifically serving as Clerk of the Faculty and working with CEP. I enjoy work that helps people feel connected, supported, and able to move good ideas forward together. Outside of work, I love traveling to spend time with family and friends and any time I can get to be near the ocean.
