As part of AT&C, Colin also supports technologies like Adobe CC, Zoom, Canvas, Panopto and more. You’ll often find Colin in the H-L Library’s Media Commons, where he provides engineering and training support for the equipment loaner pool and media production studios. A graduate of Alfred University, he studied documentary filmmaking at the Maine Media Workshops, and serves as the Technical Director for both the Camden International Film Festival and the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

Prior to joining Bowdoin in the fall of 2019, Colin spent 13 years at Bates College in various academic technology roles, including as Manager of the Digital Media Studios. He had a long time concurrent career as a radio journalist and on-air host, winning Maine Association of Broadcasters and AP awards for team political coverage for two years in a row back in the early aughts before hanging up his headphones.

He lives in Topsham just over the swinging bridge, with his partner (and local schoolteacher) Jenn, their two young kids, two self-important cats and a dog who is the size of two kids and two cats put together.
