• Liaison to Baldwin Center for Learning and Teaching (BCLT), Council of Mentors (CoM), Office of Inclusion and Diversity (OID), Communications, McKeen Center for the Common Good, Self-Identified Faculty of Color and International Faculty (SIFoC_IF), NCFDD, Bowdoin Student Government

Background

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and my graduate work at the University of Washington in Seattle. After over two decades on the West Coast, I moved to Maine to teach history and environmental studies at Bowdoin. Outside of work, I enjoy running on Brunswick’s back roads (even in the winter), tending to my flower garden in the summer, and knitting year-round.
