Dana Spector ’08 Makes Hollywood Reporter's 'Up-and-Coming' Execs List

Welcome to Hollywood Sign

Dana Spector, Class of 2008, has been named a “mogul in the making” by The Hollywood Reporter in its 24th annual list of entertainment insiders under 35 — e.g., the agents, managers, publicists, lawyers, and executives who will “soon run the industry.”

Spector oversees Paradigm’s media rights department, a job that has become increasingly important as Hollywood relies more on intellectual property, according to the magazine. Spector, who majored in history and minored in film studies at Bowdoin, focuses on “expanding the careers of emerging writers.” Spector helped negotiate the adaptation of ballerina Misty Copeland’s memoir, as well as Brit Bennett’s novel, The Mothers.
