Maine Public Radio and Keith Shortall ’82 Bring ‘Maine Calling’ to Campus to Discuss Maine and the Environment

Join in the conversation as Maine Public Radio brings Maine Calling, its interactive call-in program, to the Bowdoin College campus Friday, April 21, 2017, in Smith Auditorium, Sills Hall.

The program airs live from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

In advance of Earth Day, April 22, Maine Public Radio News Director Keith Shortall ’82, host of Maine Calling, will moderate a discussion around Maine as a laboratory for environmental study.

The panel is to comprise:

  • Dave Carlon, associate professor of biology and director of the Coastal Studies Center
  • Eileen Johnson, lecturer and Environmental Studies Program manager
  • Matthew Klingle, associate professor of history and environmental studies, and director of the Environmental Studies Program

Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
