Goldman Sachs' Jeff Goldenberg '77 Discusses Economy, Investment Careers

Jeff Goldenberg ’77 has been with investment bank Goldman Sachs for more than thirty five years, and is now a managing partner at the institution. His official title is director of portfolio strategy within the bank’s private wealth management group. In simple terms, he says, his job is akin to being a “financial doctor,” advising international clients on which investment strategies would be best for their financial health. He visited the Bowdoin campus earlier this week where he met with students and faculty to discuss a range of economy-related issues. He also found time to sit down with Bowdoin College writer and multimedia producer Tom Porter.
