Japan Research Trip
In the summer of 2017, seven students and three faculty traveled to Japan to research topics related to the theme of “Japan and the Environment.” Students looked at issues related to fisheries, environmental pollution, wildlife conservation, and public health. The trip was supported by a Bowdoin Humanities Initiative grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
